Clothes.. clothes and lots of clothes! =D

Yay! CNY's coming. =D Means.. new clothes. Well, not exactly since I buy clothes throughout the year. See any nice and cheap ones, grab it. Yes, I'm a shopaholic. XD But I have to control my desires cause then I would have to earn more money by working more hours of part-time to support my shopping spree.
Ahh.. and these are clothes which I just have to say, 'I want, I want, I want. XD' But.. nevermind, I'll just look at the pictures of it, doesn't matter if I don't get to buy them.
These are from Forever 21.
Yes, I have an eye for purple strapless dresses. =)
My prom dress was a purple strapless one too.

Ahh.. I love this one too. Looks vintage.
And.. the white colour looks so sweet. :)
The pink colour gives a girly touch to the dress. XD
Next is.. Padini Authentics. Yes, I love those long sleeve tees and jeans, I like it cause it looks smart.
Then, there's Padini. Love the jeans.
I've been looking for nice polo tees and I got mine frm PDI. XD
I like these shirts too! Haha! They're just so irresistible and smart-looking.
There's Brands Outlet too by PDI Company. They have those graphic tees which are really cool. There's one which I almost wanted to buy but I had to consider my financial status.. Haha. It showed a rock saying to a ruler, 'You Rule!' and the ruler saying to the rock, 'You Rock!'.
Hehe. Polo tees. My favourite casual shirts.

And.. okaylah, I gotta admit, F.O.S has simple polo tees too. Looks presentable and nice as well. Not trying to promote F.O.S cause I'm working there but.. Haha. Yea, nice. XD
Happy CNY! Happy shopping! =D

The past, the present and the future

The past
Studying seemed like a dreadful activity to do. Facing textbooks, revision books and etc was just too much to handle. And trying to get those words and facts into your head..it's even worse. Then came cocurricular activities.. busy busy busy, staybacks and practices. Wooh.. headache. And there's another interesting part-puppy love. AHH... those butterflies in your stomach.
The present
I dislike working. I prefer studying. Studying is just between your books & you. Nothing else. You control the book, the book listens to you, it opens to wherever page you want as long as you flip the pages. Working... politics, not like those high school politics. Malicious people everywhere, stabbing you behind your back; trying to use you as their stepping stone to achieve success in their career+ hen tuo mei you li mao de ren (i know there's something wrong with my pin yin). Pfttt..some will even treat you as if you're a furniture if you're a shop assistant. Ohh.. so what if we're paid to do it? It doesn't mean others can just ignore their manners like that. Basically exposed to the ugly side of humans. BUT.. there are still really nice people out there. :) So.. do you still want to work? Think twice. Looking forward to Form 6/college. I need education. I can't stand being a shop assistant! For now, it's okay cause I don't have any qualifications yet. For forever, NOOOOO! I need at least a degree, I can't live with a meager salary.
The future
This section will remain simple for now. Cause it's still a question mark to me. =)

Paradise Hotel stay

Went for a Paradise Hotel stay yesterday cause there's this special offer for Paradise Club members. Might as well just go and enjoy myself with my family. Had Mongolian buffet dinner and buffet breakfast at Delifrance. Didn't manage to take many photos of the surroundings cause my camera ran out of battery. Haha. Anyway, there's no where else like home eventhough the hotel's sparkly clean and they have a gym, swimming pool, cafe by the beach, spa and etc. Nothing beats the comfy-ness of home. Went to Batu Feringghi night market until 10.30pm. My first time there. XD The things sold there were attractive but expensive. Because it's a tourist spot. No work for me cause I took 2 days off for this stay. YAY! I don't like working. =(

Dragon boat tragedy & Janaki

Recently, a dragon boat tragedy took place in Penang. I'm sure most people know about it already. It's heartwrenching to see such a tragic incident take place. Eventhough I don't know any of the deceased personally, I feel gloomy about it. I'm thankful that the people I love-my family & friends are okay. Who knows what'll happen tomorrow, the day after or maybe a week later?
As the saying goes, 'Life is uncertain but death is certain', I just want to say to all my loved ones out there: I LOVE YOU, I'm sorry for the things I've done wrong, I'm sorry if I took your presence for granted; I'm grateful for your support all this while.
And.. to an ex RC member of MGS, Janaki, rest in peace. Eventhough I don't know you well, I wish you've found a better place in Heaven.

Day 5: Singapore, Johor & KL

Some of the pictures I forgot to upload earlier. Hehe. The picture above was taken at National Geography.
This one was at Vivo City..if I'm not mistaken. XD
Some gummy bears, displayed along the MRT underpass.

Bears made out of papers.

Some pictures which I found fascinating along the way.

Art & craft using newspaper.

The internet station at the hostel I stayed in.
In the MRT.

Took SBS Transit public bus to Johor.

At the bus station in Johor. ZZzz.. the bus ticket was RM45. SO EXPENSIVE.

Cause it's a ca-per-lang bus. Means.. it's a chartered bus. Not registered as a tour bus. It stopped at every station to pick up passengers. ZZZZZZ.... At first, when we approached the counter, they said it was only RM33 for the bus ticket. After writing the bus ticket, then they said it's RM45. We wanted to walk away, then the man at the counter started to go all crazy, the BM word for it=mengamuk. Imagine stopping everywhere just to pick up passengers+ the bus was filled with a stench.. +flies inside+ the door couldn't close during the journey.

Urghhh... We took the 2pm bus and ended up reaching at 9pm in KL. Horrible bus ride. I have the pictures of the bus door being stuck and the process of it. Just didn't want to upload it here. Sheeshhhhhhhh!

Day 4: Singapore

Went to Bugis market area in the morning. The things there were quite cheap and nice. For those earning Singapore money, I think it'll be so fun cause the prices are considered cheap. Eg:if you earn 3.5k dollars, the milk tea there costs only $1. Wow. But.. if converted into Malaysian Ringgit, then it'll cost RM2.50 which is still affordable. XD I'm a bubble milk tea fan. Yahoo~~ LOL.
At Bugis market area.
Went to National Geography centre at Vivo City. Not sure if it's in Vivo City, but it's in a mall.
Cool pictures at the exhibition area.
Sunglasses. XD
And as we were walking in a mall, I saw this thing (above). Those are wedding pictures. All photographed really uniquely. :)
Then, we went to Bugis Village for a while.
After that, we took a public bus to Marina Barrage, a new place in Singapore.
Pictures at the Marina Barrage entrance:

This is the fountain in the middle of Marina Barrage.
Kite flying at Marina Barrage. I didn't fly any kites there cause I didn't know they sell kites there too. People fixing their kites.
The night view of the fountain at the water park in Marina Barrage.

The night view of the Singapore Flyer and the casino which is in progress.

These are plastic bottles, stuck on a pillar. So cool.

This is a model of the reservoir they're planning to build in Singapore. There was a button to press on the screen to start the fake rain and the model will then show you how it works. 'Canggih-nya'. =D
Still in Marina Barrage.
The fountain at Marina Barrage, at night.
Another fountain. XD
I love this fountain picture.
At Lau Pa Sat. Ordered desert to eat.
Went to Clarke Quay again.

On the way to Eskibar.
At Eskibar, the temperature's really low in one area. Couldn't stand the cold environment, so..we went into the warmer area but it was still cold; just not that cold. I ordered Coke; didn't want to take alcohol, find it yucks cause I'm not used to it yet.

Day 3: Singapore

At Devonshire Road
An interesting mural.
Saw this sign at The Inn Crowd Hostel. Stayed there on my 2nd and 3rd day in Singapore.
A place where travellers sit and relax in the hostel.

The dining area.

A mosque at Bugis.

Colourful staircase.

Iluma.

At Suntec City.

Fountain of Wealth. The largest fountain in the world. XD
At Marina Barrage. That's the new casino,in progress.

Merlion.

Katong laksa. Haha. Eventhough I don't take spicy food, this laksa is a delicious one. These houses worth millions of Singapore Dollars.

The Fountain of Wealth (at night). There's a signboard which says if you touch the water fountain the middle, and walk around it 3 times, make a wish and your wish will come true. True or not? I don't know. Haha.
The water show at night.

On the way to Clarke Quay.

At the pub in Clarke Quay.
Fook Hong & Boon Hun
My first time trying white wine.

When we reached the MRT station, we rushed to catch the last MRT. Our hearts sank when they said the last MRT had already departed. :( It was about late 11pm that time. Luckily, they added an extra train service. Managed to get back to Bugis by MRT.
Slept in a mixed dorm at the hostel.
My worst night ever, so many people snorring in the room.
Instead of sleeping, I stayed up until 3am. Turning around, 'enjoying' the snoring sound.
Fed up, my sister and I went down to the couch area and slept on the sofa. YEA, the SOFA. We managed to get 4 hours of sleep there.
When we were almost in our sleeping mode, there were 2 guys who came out from their private room; one went to the toilet, the other one on the phone, talking so loudly. Sheesh. Then, the one on the phone went out. Before he left, he asked why were we sleeping on the sofa; said it was horrible up there, snorring people everywhere. Ah hah.. and here's the funny part, the guy who went to the toilet; he was in boxers, his roommate took the room key out, he was locked outside and he kept banging the room door. =.=
He came out and asked whether we saw his friend, so I told him that his friend just left after a phone call..and as expected he asked why were we sleeping on the sofa. Then, he helped us switch on the fan cause I couldn't find the switch.
After that, his friend came back with a drunk friend.
His drunk friend was hilarious.
He shouted to his friend in boxers, 'Hey, why are you wearing boxers in front of girls?' and he said to my sister and I, 'Hey, girls. :)'. Hahaha. In the end, they hurried the drunk one into their room.
And when we were sleeping halfway, the drunk one came out and said, 'Bye girls. :)'. Swt case. An experience I'll always remember, sleeping on the sofa and meeting funny people. Haha.
